Art & Music in the Gallery
Since 1901, the Lawrence Library has hosted art exhibitions and live music performances.
Art
The Gallery hosts a new exhibit every month.
Annual highlights are the Squanicook Colonial Quilt Guild show in the spring, and the student art show in the summer. In December, the Gallery transforms into a winter wonderland!

Free Concerts
Music events are held in the intimate, smoke-free environment of the
Art Gallery. Fantastic acoustics draw musicians and listeners from
throughout New England. All programs are free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments available. Funded by the Friends of the Library.
Donations for PACH, our local food pantry, are welcome at all of our music events.
Free Concert
Alec Sullivan is a local singer songwriter with 'a voice that shatters glass to splinters while softly petting newborn kittens'. Hailing from the dark forests of New England, Alec brings acoustic sounds ranging from light folk to haunting metal.
