Scott and Enid Concert

Join us for an intimate evening of music featuring Enid Ames and Scott Matsumoto. Enid, a soulful singer-songwriter whose contemporary folk songs explore the big questions of life, will share her own heartfelt compositions alongside new collaborations with Scott. Scott, a master of acoustic fingerstyle guitar, will showcase his percussive, melodic playing, blending influences from Andy McKee and Tommy Emmanuel. Together, they promise a night of dynamic performances that blend introspective lyrics with intricate guitar work.

Music events are held in the intimate, smoke-free environment of the Art Gallery. Fantastic acoustics draw musicians and listeners from throughout New England. All programs are free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30. Light refreshments are available; coffee and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. Donations for PACH, our local food pantry, are welcome at all of our music events.

Classical Concert Series

Classical Concert Series: Seth McLeod and Dave McLellan

"Ten String Festival” comprises veteran guitarist Dave McLellan and emerging cello virtuoso Seth MacLeod, presenting an exciting program of classic works in new settings. The duo performs music from the Rococo cellist/composer Luigi Boccherini, the 19th century genius Franz Schubert, the King of Tango Nuevo Astor Piazzolla, ending with the iconic Seven Spanish Folk Songs by Manuel de Falla. The combination of cello and guitar is full and rich; listeners will be covered in a wash of sound.
