Save the date: Saturday, October 18th, from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, we will be hosting the 2025 Friends of the Lawrence Library Wine Tasting! Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Library, The Wine Nook in Townsend, and online. In person, we accept cash or checks (payable to Friends of the Lawrence Library or FLL). Credit cards will be accepted at the Library the night of the event.
Along with the wine tasting, your ticket also includes hors d'oeuvres, music, and a stemless wine glass with a unique Pepperell image designed by a local artist. Come and enjoy an adult night out with wine, friends, and food in a relaxed atmosphere!
Ever spy the antique carousel horse in the Library? This beautiful horse was donated by the Minckler Family. Now, it can be yours! Stop by the Library to take a look and place your bid. You will need to stop by the front desk to get a bidder number. There is a bidding sheet near the horse, upstairs in the non-fiction section. The winner will be announced at the Wine Tasting! Please note that the winner does not need to be in attendance to win.
