On Saturday, September 6th, from 11 AM to 1 PM, please join us for a reception for nature/travel photographer Carol-Anne Taddeo in the Art Gallery. Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Taddeo’s photography will be on display through October 4th.
Our featured museum pass of the month is Davis Farmland Discovery Farm in Sterling, MA. Each pass admits up to six guests with $10 off per ticket. Please note that Davis Farmland is cashless - they accept all major credit cards. All museum passes are sponsored by the Friends of the Library and can be booked online, by phone at 978-433-0330, or in person at the Circulation Desk.
Starting on Thursday, September 18th, from 7 PM to 8 PM, we invite members of the LGBTQIA+ community to celebrate, connect, and be yourself at our monthly Pepperell Pride LGBTQIA+ Adult Social Meetup - a friendly space to hang out, share stories, discover resources, and make new friends. Pepperell Pride will also be meeting on October 16th, November 20th, and December 18th. No registration is necessary.
Open Mic Night is back on Friday, September 19th, at 6:30 PM! Musicians, singers, poets-share your talent! All ages/all instruments are welcome. We have a cajón and a grand piano to play in the beautiful, intimate Art Gallery. Open Mic is held on the third Friday of the month, September through June, except December, and hosted by guest emcees. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments and coffee will be available. We welcome donations for PACH, our local food pantry, at all of our music programs.
Speaking of music programs, you won’t want to miss “Night of Blues” with New Englander Arthur James on Saturday, September 20th. Doors are at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7 PM. And on Friday, September 26th, we present our Classical Concert Series with Jessica Tunick Berens & Trevor Berens. Doors are at 6:30 PM and the concert begins at 7 PM. The classical concert series is funded in part by a grant from the Pepperell Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. The Friends of the Library sponsors all music programs.
