Friends of the Lawrence Library ~
A non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster closer relations between the Library and the community; to promote awareness of the Library’s services and programs; and to raise funds for Library purchases.

The Friendsí funding comes primarily from membership, donations and fundraising. The largest fund raising events are the Wine and Beer Tasting, the Used Toy Sale, and the Used Book Sale. Event information can be found on the Fundraiser & Events page.
The Friends offer ample opportunity for community involvement. Chairing an activity, working on the Octoberfest, book sale, or simply offering experience and ideas, are all wonderful ways to become involved. To read the 2015-16 Clipboard
