Museum Pass Programs

  • Passes may be reserved by telephone, on-line or in person.
  • A family may borrow a pass for only one museum at a time.
  • Please return passes immediately after use, in the pouch provided.
  • All passes have been funded by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.

YOU MAY LEAVE THE POUCH IN THE BOOK DROP IF THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED.

All Passes are Purchased by The Friends of the Lawrence Library. You do not need to be a member of the Friends to borrow the passes, you only need a library card.

 

Boston Children's Museum

Passes are available for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. One pass admits up to four people. Admission is half price.

Boston Museum of Fine Arts

One pass admits up to two people, for general admission, into the Museum for $10 per person.  As always, children 6 and under are admitted free at all times, children 7-17 are admitted for $10 on school days until 3pm.  All other times, children under 17 are admitted FREE. Please fill out the information on the back of the pass. 

Boston Museum of Science

One pass admits up to four people. There is a $7.00 charge per person. The pass is given to the clerk at the museum and not returned to the library. The pass does not cover admission to the Planetarium, Omni Theater or combination tickets.

DCR - Massachusetts State Park Pass

Discover your Massachusetts State Parks by borrowing a Parks Pass from your library.  The Parks Pass entitles the bearer to free parking at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts State Parks System that charge a day-use parking fee.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre

Pass allows patrons a $10.00 discount for up to six people per performance. Tickets must be reserved ahead of time either online or by telephone. Library pass must be turned in at Theatre.

 

Museum of Russian Icons

The museum is open from 11am - 4pm Tuesday through Friday, 11am - 5 pm Saturday & Sunday. Pass admits up to 6 with general admission.

 

New England Quilt Museum

The museum is open from 10am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday. Museum is open Sundays, May through December, 12pm-4pm. Each pass admits 2 people.

 

Peabody Essex Museum

Plimouth Planation

Salem Witch Museum

Pass admits up to 6 visitors at discounted admission. Pass is not valid October weekends and Halloween.

 

Seacoast Science Center

Pass admits two adults and up to four children or grandchildren at 50% off cost of regular admission. Passes must be presented to the Odiorne Point State Park Tollbooth attendant AND our Center greeter.

The Seacoast Science Center is separate from Odiorne Point State Park. We cannot guarantee the library pass includes park admission. From April-September a park fee ($4 per adult, 12 and over and $2 per child, 6-11, under 6 is free) may be imposed.

 

Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Home of the Worcester County Horticultural Society. This pass also allows free admission for one person and discounts to over 250 Arboreta, Gardens and Conservatories throughout the country.
