Museum Pass Programs

  • Passes may be reserved by telephone, on-line or in person.
  • A family may borrow a pass for only one museum at a time.
  • Please return passes immediately after use, in the pouch provided.
  • All passes have been funded by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.

YOU MAY LEAVE THE POUCH IN THE BOOK DROP IF THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED.

All Passes are Purchased by The Friends of the Lawrence Library.  You do not need to be a member of the Friends to borrow the passes, you only need a library card.

 

Boston Children's Museum

Passes are available for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  One pass admits up to four people.  There is a $2 charge per person.

 

Boston Museum of Fine Arts

One pass admits up to two people, for general admission, into the Museum for $5 per person.  As always, children 6 and under are admitted free at all times, children 7-17 are admitted for $6.50 on school days until 3pm.  All other times, children under 17 are admitted FREE. Please fill out the information on the back of the pass.  If you wish to obtain general admission and view the exhibition in the Gund Gallery you may purchase a special exhibition ticket for an additional $8.  Bring your pass and co-payment to any MFA ticket desk and state that you would like to purchase a discounted ticket good for admission to the special exhibition.  The library pass does not allow for discounts at the MFA Shop, Parking, Dining, Films, Concerts and Lectures.

Boston Museum of Science

One pass admits up to four people. There is a $5.00 charge per person. The pass is given to the clerk at the museum and not returned to the library. The pass does not cover admission to the Planetarium, Omni Theater or combination tickets.

Davis' Farmland

One pass admits up to six (6) people for Weekdays, only to the Farmland or Mega Maze. There is a charge of $9.95 per person. Weather decisions are made each day by 8am. For Megamaze: Valid only in August for up to 6 people at only $9.95 per person.

 

DCR - Massachusetts State Park Pass

Discover your Massachusetts State Parks by borrowing a Parks Pass from your library.  The Parks Pass entitles the bearer to free parking at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts State Parks System that charge a day-use parking fee.  Please note the Parks Pass is not valid at Nahant and Nantasket Beaches.

Fruitlands Museum

Fruitlands Farmhouse, The Shaker Museum, The Picture Gallery and the Indian Museum.
One pass is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children.  Parking is free for all visitors. Guided tours by reservation. Watch for special events throughout the year.

The pass is not valid for Museum store discounts, tea room discounts or Concord Band Events.

 

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Pass admits 4 people with a $5 general admission charge each. General admission does not include concerts, lectures of other ticketed events.

 

New England Quilt Museums

The museum is open from 10am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday. Museum is open Sundays, May through December, 12pm-4pm. Each pass admits 2 people.

 

Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Home of the Worcester County Horticultural Society. This pass also allows free admission for one person and discounts to over 120 Arboreta, Gardens and Conservatories throughout the country.

Garden Tour every Sunday at 2pm from May to Mid-October. Orangerie features blooming, temperate and subtropical plants from October through April.
